Journeys is dedicated to providing Guests, on their Travel Excursions,

and the Canadian Rockies with a Professional Qualified Tour Guide.
Creative Journeys endorses the concepts of ecotourism in order
to protect, preserve and sustain local natural, cultural and social
environments.

Vision
Creative
Journeys is a tour and tour guiding service company that is owned
and operated by Clarence (Clancy) J. De Neve, B.Sc. I was born
and raised in a small town just outside of Calgary which eventually
became annexed to Calgary. As a family , we traveled to the Rockies,
the Foothills, the Badlands and the Prairies of Alberta on our
vacations. Today, I continue to hike, ski, cycle, canoe and photograph
with friends amongst the many magnificent regions of Alberta.
I enjoyed being a docent (teacher/guide) at the Calgary Zoo for
ten years informing students about our wildlife so that all can
understand the need to preserve wildlife in their natural habitat.
I have extensive experience serving clients needs as a manager
in the retail industry and as a visitor services supervisor with
Parks Canada in the tourism industry. My hope is that you will
capture some of the essence of Alberta and keep your experience
and enjoyment of Creative Journeys' tours as part of your travel
memories.
